Gabriele Renner, Managing Director of pervormance international GmbH in Ulm, has been elected to the board of Südwesttextil. The business and employers’ association is a community of around 200 companies with 7 billion euros in sales and 24,000 employees.
Südwesttextil is an advisor to its members, a networker in politics and business, a social partner in collective bargaining policy, and a promoter of textile research and commitment to social and ecological standards. “I am very pleased to be able to contribute our expertise and also our social and ecological commitment,” commented Gabriele Renner on her election to the Südwesttextil board, which includes representatives of renowned companies such as Vaude, Boss, Amann and Olymp.
Renner, who hails from Ulm, is the founder and managing director of pervormance international GmbH, which is successful worldwide with actively cooling functional textiles. The innovative system technology from Ulm cools the body by up to 12 degrees. This benefits employees in workplaces above 26 degrees, patients with heat-related concomitant illnesses, competitive athletes, but also everyone in the course of the temperature increase due to climate change. The Ulm-based company has been the world’s first climate-neutral textile company since 2013.
